If you’re thinking about your 2018 New Year's resolutions then learning a coding language may be a good bet.
As a developer I know quite a few but I am a bit wet behind the ears when it comes to Apple’s Swift.
Luckily there are quite a few resources out there for you to try. Currently I'm having a go at Learn to Code with Swift.
This is a lovely little app. It starts with the basics and works you gently towards some more advanced skills. The format is that of a lesson. They give you some information on a particular area and then immediately give you the opportunity to test your knowledge.
I've only just started but I'm learning already. It’s free with no annoying in-app purchases.
Plus as it's on your phone (iOS/Android) you always have it with you so you can dip in when you have a spare five minutes. Or you could do it on the web. Nice!
