Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg might want to check his privacy settings on Facebook. A bug in the social network allowed an anonymous user to hack into several public profiles and post messages. The hacker left this message on Zuckerberg's profile:
"Let the hacking begin: If facebook needs money, instead of going to the banks, why doesn't Facebook let its users invest in Facebook in a social way? Why not transform Facebook into a 'social business' the way Nobel Prize winner Muhammad Yunus described it? http://bit.ly/fs6rT3 What do you think? #hackercup2011"
It is not clear how Zuckerberg's account was breached, but the irony is incredible. Facebook has been notoriously bad for security breaches and flaws, spilling thousands of people's personal information across the highways of the Internet. The twisted turn now leaves Zuckerberg in the same boat as everyone else: a victim.
But don't get me wrong. I have no sympathy for the CEO. After all, you get what you give. What do you think about this ironic twist?
