Rumours are rumours and of course all of them

are to be taken with a pinch or even a tablespoon of salt. So, the latest and greatest of them all is that Apple will not be holding an event on September 7th as recently predicted but on October 7th according to 'Sources'

'Sources'...of course or perhaps a simply typo graphical error, or a misread of the calendar, or perhaps a misheard conversation or maybe IT'S JUST COMPLETE BUNKUM!

Apple retail staff know absolutely as much as end users do until they hear it from Uncle Steve on Stage. And I know a few and they have assured me that this is the case. The thought that even development staff know the 'exact' release date of a service or product surprises me, I'm guessing they kinda know when 'development is done' and the 'project plan runs out about...' but no more than that

Unless Steve Jobs or Tim Cook or Phil Schiller or old Jonny Ive is banging Walt Mosberg...No ok I don't think so, then about 1 week before, a select few people will know a little morebut nothing more than that.

One thing I'm sure of is that The Mosconi Centre has a booking for 'Mr Smith' sometime in September with a 'few close friends' for a 'Wedding Rehearsal Dinner'...Yeah Right!
