Questions

1.

Hi chaps, I wrote in the other day and have now, on your recommendation, bought the Canon 70-200 F4 lens and am very happy ( and wouldn't have gone for it otherwise!) thanks, you rock.

I'm now interested in a macro lens for my 7D. I have some extension tubes ( and the Canon 50mm 1.8) already but would like an inexpensive Macro lens to get into macro photography. Or am I better off sticking to the 50mm and the tubes? I've had a dabble with the tubes already but don't find them particularly easy to use.

Any advice?

Thanks and keep up the great work - love the show!

Dear Ewen Alex Chris and Kevin

I want to shoot some slow motion video asking around on twitter and Facebook, I was told that slomo is better shot in 720p rather than 1080p. Is this true? Surely I would lose out on quality with 720p over 1080p

Hoping you can help

Hey Fellas

My next door neighbour’s daughter wants to become a photographer and asked me whether I thought it was a good idea. Listening to the depressing answers you gave last week, I'm not sure that I perhaps gave the best advice.

If someone thinks they want to be a photographer, what route should they take to achieve that goal and how should they look to develop their skills.

Thanks

Peter Cockcroft - Newcastle
