Some customers of Marks & Spencers have reported that the stores contact payment terminals has charged their debit cards even though they had never been removed from their bags. Customers of Pret a Manger have also reported similar issues, however, none of the same customers appear to be bothered about paying £5 for a sandwich in the first place. NASA has awarded a grant of $125,000 to a company to devlop a 3D food printer. The first design to be printed will be a pizza that will consist of water, oil and three layers of nutritional powders. The Powders to be used in the design come from such protentially scrumy sources as grass, algae and insects. Hmmmmmm....Who wants that last slice? NASA funds 3D food printer, pizza is the first item on the menu.
Yahoo has bought the popular blogging platform Tumblr for £1.1 billion. Marissa Mayer has promised that Yahoo will not screw up the service. I've recently moved my blog over to Tumblr from Posterous (after Twitter shut it down). What do we think of this acquisition and do we trust Yahoo in there promise?
