QUESTIONS
1. Hi, This has probably been discussed before but as a newbie to the show wondered what your thoughts were on Apple Aperture vs. Adobe Lightroom. I have been using Aperture since version 1 and currently use the most recent version but am now getting frustrated with it's performance, even on my 2011 MacBook Pro. It feels like Aperture has been forgotten by Apple seeing no major updates for awhile and Lightroom is taking lead. Should I give Lightroom a try or trust Apple will get back in the game? Thanks, Ian Lewis Cornwall
2. Hey Guys Love the show. I’m a keen film user and the last week, I got a pile of old Kodachrome from a car boot sale. I paid £5 for 30 rolls of various ISOs. I’m aware that some of it may be no use but I got straight home and put it in the fridge, then it hit me. Why do you put film in a fridge? Surely room temperature and away from direct sunlight would be enough? Interested to know what you think. Is it necessary or just more Photography bull? Also, how long can you keep it in the fridge before you need to use it. I have no idea how old it is and all the dates on the boxes are expired by 2 years. Cheers Patrick. Enniskillen
3. Dear Ewen, Alex and Chris I have been shooting with a Monopod and regularly get down to 1/15th of a second and got images without any blur. The other day though I got caught without it and hit 1/30th sec but couldn’t get a clear image. How low have you guys ever gone and is there a tip or trick for getting shots at low speeds Cheers Chris Francis Camberley.
