Windows 8 due for release “late October” with an offer of a £15 upgrade-offer for windows PC’s pre-installed with windows 7 and purchased between June 2012 and 31st January 2013 with a slightly higher cost for PC’s running windows seven, XP and Vista purchased outwith these dates of around £25.
Apples mountain lion is due for release July 2012.
The final of the Geek Badge competition was held between Paul Wheatley @paulwheatley, Paul Wright @paulums and, Andy Leigh @longball. The winner was Paul Wright who was presented with a Union Jack toilet seat as his prize.
