So Disney have finally released the sequel to their popular physics-based puzzle game 'Where's My Water'. The aim of the game being much the same as it was in its predecessor in that you have to get water to Swampy the Crocodile who is in need of a good wash as well as soaking cute little duckies along the way.

The game does however introduce some new elements, for instance once you have played a round you can go back and play it again but this time trying to get Swampy's precious water to him whilst avoiding the resident ducks which is actually harder than you think sometimes. Another feature is 'Duck Rush' which forces you to keep your supply of H2O on screen at all times as the screen scrolls through what seems is an endless maze until eventually you get to those essential pipes.

Based on your success you are awarded with ducks of which a certain amount are required to progress through the various parts of the game. There are also power ups that can used to boost your liquid maneuvers.

So in the most part pretty much what you got from the original with a few tweaks but if you loved Swampy's first outing and have been gagging for more then this fun from start to end.

One thing to point out though in a change from the first game which was a paid for app 'Where's My Water? 2' is based on the freemium model so it's free to download and play but you can purchase upgrades and power ups to aid your progress but so far I've not seen this getting in the way of my enjoyment of the game. The other thing that I like is that as soon as you have installed the game it does push a notification to inform un-savvy parents about how to disable in-app purchases on an iOS device which is a nice touch.

You can also connect via Facebook to challenge and see the progress of your friends. Also logging into the social network enables the feature to save your progress between devices so that you can pick up from where you left off whatever you're using.

'Where's My Water? 2' is on the App Store now and an Android version should be coming soon.
