Ok. Titter-ye-not!

'The Willy' is actually a small device...no stop tittering...which is a MUST for your iPhone and can even cope with an iPad Mini.

Its distributed by Insanely Great Products in the U.S. and is a simple yet effective device for holding your iOS platform. The appearance is of two suction cups which are mounted on an acrylic frame and finished off with a rubber base. The build quality is excellent and the strength of the unit will hold your iPad Mini in Landscape mode on your desk if you really want it to.

I guess the main use for most people would be as a desktop iPhone holder and in that regard it does an admirable job, but 'The Willy' really comes into its own when you use it in your car.

Standing on the Dashboard it holds your iPhone pretty well and the base is wide enough to avoid it toppling over on normal town driving, but thanks to the dual sucker configuration, 'The Willy' sticks to your screen and then also has the opposing side sucker free for your iPhone.

The iPhone doesn't bounce too much in this setup and it feels pretty secure. I did use it with my iPad Mini and whilst it worked perfectly, I can't say I was entirely comfortable in holding it above my dashboard on The Willy and to be fair to Insanely Great Products, The Willy is not meant for the iPad Mini, but I think its testament to the build quality that it holds the extra weight well.

For $20, you need to order direct from their website in The States, but they deliver worldwide and at that price its a good purchase. They also do a variant called 'The Traveller' in Acrylic ($10) and Aluminium ($15) which has no base and may be the better purchase if your intention is car use only. If you're looking for Desktop only, the other variant is 'The Jack' at $10.

Pros - Great Build Quality. Particularly useful in the car. The Price is good. Lots of colours to choose from

Cons - The suckers may need replacing eventually but that may be sometime. No UK Purchase location
