It may seem like I'm on a bit of a portable battery hit lately since my purchase of the Anker Astro the other week but while I was at the Gadget Show Live this weekend I was on the look for alternatives for my mum. Now there were a lot of batteries on show but they either looked rubbish or the people trying to push them knew very little about them so I moved on. That is until I visited the iT7 stall.
They sell the Power Bank which is a 2600 mAh portable battery which does pretty much the same as most power backups but comes in a sleek stylish design and is a lot smaller than the Anker. It will charge all of your micro USB devices but unlike it's competition that don't come with cables for iOS devices it's packaged with two adapters, one for 30-pin and one for lightning which is a really nice touch.
The Power Bank also comes with an inbuilt torch if you lose your dentures in the middle of the night.
The peeps on the iT7 stand were awesome and they have a raft of other devices that we would love to get our hands on but as a start for the nerd on the move this is a bargain.
