So it’s here. After much deliberation I have finally succumb to the siren calls of the latest iPhone. But the biggest question for me was, well of course, which one. Since it’s launch this year I’ve pondered which one I’d get should the mood take me. I’ve spent a lot of time asking current iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users if I can handle their devices but I still couldn’t make up my mind. But then last week Three presented me with an offer that I couldn’t refuse. It involved slicing the cost of my early cancellation fee and getting the latest model now instead of 10 months (I was rocking an iPhone 5) so I leaped at the chance. At the weekend I was contacted by Three to seal the deal and the question was asked, “which model would you like sir”, instinctively I yelped iPhone 6 and the deal was done.
What followed over the past few days was a nagging feeling of uncertainty. Should I have gone for the 6 Plus? I love that screen real estate but I have girly-man hands and that’s why I doubted it as my choice. The 6 is an amazing phone but is the conundrum that Apple have presented us with? If you get the 6 Plus (and I’ve heard this from many people) it feels unwieldy and they wish they’d got the smaller one, but on the other hand 6 owners wonder if they’re pining for that bigger screen.
I’m still in two minds. Don’t get me wrong. The 6 is the perfect phone for me but there’s that niggling feeling deep down inside.
What do you think. Are you happy with the model you settled with? Or is this just something that Apple will always do to us to keep us reaching into our pockets.
Please hit me up and let me know.
