Real time follow up from Agilebits: This is due to some changes that Apple made to iCloud recently. Please A) be sure that Safari is your default browser, and B) that you put a checkmark in the "Keep me signed in" checkbox before logging into iCloud the next time this happens and that should resolve the issue.
